@ebisuaustin, located in northwest Austin, serves traditional Japanese fare with modern influences, featuring high-grade sashimi and wagyu beef, nigiri, and sashimi, as well as traditional sushi rolls. They have a full bar that offers sake, Japanese whiskey, classic cocktails, and more.
Most importantly, they just came out with an INSANE happy hour menu (M-F 4:30-6:30pm)…and dare I say it might be one of the best prices in Austin?! We’re talking $2 nigiri, $4 hot appetizers, $7 crudo, $3 beer, and $4 wine…just to name a few! INSANE 🤯

✨Shrimp & vegetable tempura $9
✨Nigiri (salmon, bluefin tuna, and eel) $2 each

✨Albacore Delight Roll - chopped albacore and crabmeat, wrapped in albacore and avocado served with spicy ponzu sauce
✨Scallop roll - scallop with salmon and cucumber
✨Cherry Blossom Roll - salmon and avocado roll topped with tuna, and vinaigrette
✨Mochi ice cream (mango & matcha green tea)
The hot dishes came in 🔥 and the sushi was so fresh! Our favorites were the shishito peppers, spicy edamame, shrimp tempura, bluefin nigiri, eel nigiri, and albacore delight roll (Holy moly…we will be ordering this roll ON REPEAT!!! If you are just wanting to try one roll, this one is it. Definitely one of our top favorite rolls in Austin right now).

✨Salad: chopped kale caesar
✨Large plates: steak au poivre (wagyu beef) & seared faroe island salmon
✨Sides: parmesan truffle fries
✨Dessert: faux “charcuterie board” - an assortment of yummy desserts (key lime pie, lemon cake bites, etc)
I can’t even pick a favorite because everything was SO good 😩 We clearedddd the plates & barely had room for dessert! This place is perfect for a girls night, date night, celebration, etc! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🤍
